International Journal of Assistive Robotics and Systems (IJARS) is a quarterly technical publication that deals with assistive robotics, assistive systems and assistive technologies for the special care-needed people including the people of old ages and/or with disabilities. From the year 1999, the journal has been published under the first name: International Journal of Human-friendly Welfare Robotics Systems (HWRS), and as of the year 2006, it was changed to the second name: International Journal of Assistive Robotics and Mechatronics (IJARM), sponsored by Human-friendly Welfare Robot System Engineering Research Center (HWRS-ERC), KAIST. And, as of the year 2009, the name is changed again to the new name: International Journal of Assistive Robotics and Systems(IJARS) to better serve the research and engineering community of assistive/rehabilitation systems with more focused information and knowledge. Sponsored by Institute of Information Convergence Technology (IICT), Dongguk University, the IJARS will do her best to achieve its objective in the coming years. The IJARS welcomes any feedback on comments concerning better service of the Journal. |
